She conquered both television and movies with her top-rating teleseryes and box-office hit movies. She is one of the best actresses of her generation. She has proven her acting prowess both critically and commercially. As a film actress and box-office star, her movies Anak, Milan and Sukob are among the highest grossing Filipino films of all time. She is one of the Movie Queens of Philippine Cinema in the 90's and even up to the present. She has appeared in over thirty movies and has won several awards. She is considered as the next Vilma Santos.
